Malibu was such a beautiful and scenic beach town to visit in CA, with its stunning views of the beach and mountains landscape, endless food options, and attractions. Truly understand the appeal Miley Cyrus talked about in her song “Malibu” lol. This was my first time visiting Malibu so I can only go off of my research and suggestions. Below is what I discovered and absolutely loved!
Things to See & Do
Point Dume This place offers breathtaking coastal views and is perfect for a relaxing walk or scenic hike.
Malibu Pier An iconic spot for a reason! The pier is a great place to experience Malibu’s lifestyle and vibe with the views, surfers, beach goers, and locals and travelers alike, hanging out and walking around
The Getty Villa The Getty Villa is a stunning museum with beautiful gardens and incredible exhibits. A must visit for your Malibu travels!
El Matador Beach One of Malibu’s most picturesque beaches.
Calabasas Hills For an epic sunset, head over to Calabasas Hills. The view of the sun setting over the mountains is absolutely breathtaking
Malibu Country Mart A chic shopping destination with a mix of high-end boutiques, cafes, and galleries. Perfect for a bit of retail therapy or just window shopping.
Escondido Falls If you’re up for a little adventure, the hike to Escondido Falls is a must
Cielo Farms A stunning winery with gorgeous views. Whether you’re a wine lover or just looking for a beautiful spot to relax, Cielo Farms is a great choice.
Where to Eat
Nobu Sushi lovers – this is for you! I cannot rave enough about the Malibu Nobu location. Perfect for dinner and watching the sunset! Malibu Farms Located on the Malibu Pier, this spot offers fresh, farm-to-table dishes. It’s great for brunch or a casual meal with stunning ocean views.
Other Restaurants: Geoffrey’s + Taverna Tony’s
