Charleston, SC holds a special place in my heart, and I’ve yet to meet someone who hasn’t fallen in love with its charm. Things to See & Do
The Battery: Discover some of Charleston’s most beautiful houses near The Battery. You can’t miss the iconic pink mansion overlooking the water. The Battery is perfect for sightseeing, taking photos, and walking around. Don’t forget to visit the well-known Pineapple Fountain nearby!
King Street: Indulge in endless shopping on King Street, where some of the cutest boutiques & stores are, surrounded by palm trees, the enhancing the southern charm aesthetic. My favorites include Love Shack Fancy, Millie Lynn Boutique, Two Cumberland, and Candlefish, where you can even make your own candle.
French Huguenot Church: Located on Church Street, the French Huguenot Church is a stunning pink landmark that is a must-see.
Rainbow Row: Explore Rainbow Row, a row of pastel-colored houses that’s an iconic landmark in Charleston. Take a stroll down the adjacent cobblestone alleys with gas lanterns for an extra charming experience.
Marion Square Farmers Market: Every Saturday from 8 am to 2 pm, enjoy the charming Marion Square Farmers Market, filled with local & unique vendors.
Shem Creek: Experience the charm of Charleston beyond downtown by visiting Shem Creek. Enjoy breathtaking sunsets, waterfront dining, and the chance to spot dolphins, if you’re lucky!
Sunsets Waterfront Dining: Indulge in sunset views and amazing sushi at this newer restaurant on Shem Creek, which is truly a new favorite of mine!
Tavern & Table: This spot is perfect for sunday brunch!
Saltwater Cowboy: Enjoy fun drinks, appetizers, and live music at Saltwater Cowboy. Perfect for fun & lively vibes
Pitt Street Bridge: Ideal for a picturesque sunset picnic.
Sullivan’s Island: My personal favorite beach! Explore its charming shops and restaurants, including ABOVO, a cute women’s boutique that is my absolute favorite. Don’t forget to drive over to Isle of Palms for more beautiful beaches and houses!
Daniel Island: Take a short trip to Daniel Island for drinks and appetizers at Kingstide, offering stunning views.
Restaurants + Rooftop Bars
Frannie + the Fox: This is my top restaurant in Charleston! The food is amazing, and the ambiance is intimate and romantic. Share a few pizzas and enjoy the patio seating.
Ritual: Enjoy amazing rooftop views and aesthetic at this newer restaurant in Charleston.
The Citrus Club at the Dewberry Hotel: For the prettiest view of Charleston, head to The Citrus Club. Sip on pre-dinner drinks and enjoy the view before dining elsewhere.
Oku: Amazing sushi.
Millers All Day: Iconic for brunch.
